LAMS UK Workshop

Hands on experience of working with LAMS (Learning Activity Management System), led by James Dalziel.

Wednesday 21st April, 1:00 - 5.00pm, Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT), Arts Campus, University of Southhampton

LAMS is a web-based system for creating and managing sequences of Learning Activities. LAMS has some of the characteristics of a Managed Learning Environment, but the creator/tutor of the learning scenario uses a drag and drop interface to set up the activities and their sequence, and can then pull in the resources required to support the learning. Learners are launched into a learning scenario, which the tutor can monitor and contribute to as required.
